Car Information:OE 252 CID, now 390 in not runable condition Motor with Manual-3 Speed Transmission
Ford maroun with Biege/tan Interior
My two owner maroun in color, '63 Ford, Country Sedan, Nine Psngr
Stn Wgn, 390 CID,3spd/O.D was registered in the state of Oregon
by my Dad, Marion I Eacret, after he bought it in 1963; it was
then registered in Kansas under the same name in '74 (i think)
and then finally in Nevada. I bought it and registered it here
in Nevada in May of 1998. A 352 CID was OE replaced at 120,000
because it wouldn't start anymore, all that was wrong with the
352 was the teeth stripped on the 'fiber' cam gear--and that was
ALL that was wrong with it,Dad finding out after putting the low
mileage 1970 390 in it. He grew to like the 390 better. Some time
in the mid 60's while still living in Scappoose, Oregon Dad was
busted for making whiskey. He had been moonshining for several
years and this is one of the cars he used to transport it. The
Feds confiscated it along with his BMW motocycle and 55' Ford,
Custom. He got the two cars back, but lost the motorcycle. The
road Dad lived on in Scappoose was J.P. West Rd., which they
nicknamed Thunder Road. About the car: pictures attached . . . ;
the superstructure (frame and body integrity) has never been
compromised, but minor left-front fender and hood damge; the
elec. rear window works; the overdrive functions perfectly; the
engine doesn't, being damaged by coolant; I replaced the
cross-flow radiator core in late '98, upgraded to high
effeciency; the rest of the car is totally still there as it came
out in '93, all the way from the hub caps to the wiper arms to
the radio (which doesn't seem to work) to the tail light lenses.
The floor boards are beginning to rust out, most all the weather-
stripping is useless; third seat cushions missing; spare
tire/jack ass. hold-down bolt missing. For more information and
pictures of interior etc., call (775)-573-2536 and/or E-mail me
at getupandtruck@juno.com. PS My Dad is still alive. He can
fill you in on more details.

Sell or trade for dependable older 2WD Ford Ranger (or
equivilant) plus b$$t (need the
cash); don't care if it is ugly long as everything works; I
physically can't get in and out of
Sedan style vehicles very easily anymore, and the seats are too
low to the floor staightening
my knees too much.

Will be attempting to rebuild or replace this engine in "The
Cruiser", and if accomplished, price will reflect added value.

Will negotiate whether delivered or you pick it up. If I
delivered to you, count on minimum delivery charge of .22
cents/mile if distance exceeds say a couple hundred miles outside
Hawthorne, Nevada.

$1,500.00 or best offer. Reserve right to refuse any and all
purchase offers.
