Car Information: | Ser~# 13085 US Model This car has just completed a concours restoration, which resulted in the invitation to the 1997 Meadow Brook Hall Concours d'Elegance in Detroit, August 3, 1997. The body of this California car was painted to concours quality by Richard Paris of Hawthorne, CA. Richard Pirics, of Huntington Beach, CA, restored the interior, also to concours quality. This Ferrari has the optional rear package shelf in place of the back seat, similar to the Ferrari Superfast model. The car has optional covered headlights as well as (5) new Borani wire wheels. The engine has been completely rebuilt. The suspension and brake components have been rebuilt and replaced, powder coated to better than new condition. The car drives like new; approximately 1,500 miles were put on it last fall. The original mileage is not known, but during the restoration all parts showed minimum wear, leading one to believe that the vehicle has low mileage. The air conditioning works well, as well as the cooling system; this is partly due to the fact that modern electric cooling fans have replaced the original inefficient ones. Considerable money was spent on this restoration. This is probably the finest 356 GT 2+2 Ferrari in the country, but due to space limitations, the vehicle is offered for sale at $53,500.00 |
