Car Information: | 1949 CHRYSLER NEW YORKER...SECOND SERIES STRAIGHT 8..131.5" wb. Four door sedan. This is an unique model year between the style ofthe 40's and 50's for Chrysler. This car is an older restoration and all original and part of a personal collection for many years. Painted in the original green enamel, all the outside chrome has been re-chromed. New period wide white wall tires have been added along with the sun visor and spot light. Interior upholstery is original and in good condition, but could use a new head liner. Milage is 69,271 and engine has been fitted with new piston rings and still has the break-in oil since this was done. Being the New Yorker, it has a large rear seat area. I would place this as a strong #2 car. Health considerations have forced me to put this car up for sale. This car is similar to the first car I owned...you might have owned one and had the same feelings. Priced to sell: $7,900 fob Photos available for serious buyers.
