Car Information: | Yellow With Yellow Interior and Yellow Top V8 400 cubic inch Motor Automatic Transmission This super sweet ride has only 40,000 original miles on it. It has been regularly maintained, garaged, and driven. This car's original owner drove it weekly to the golf course and the Elks club, but never put more than a few miles a week on it. My family bought it from his estate in 1991. My grandmother drove it and meticulously cared for the car. I bought it from her last summer. I am selling it only because I just bought a house and the Cadillac isn't very practical for hauling sheet rock.
This Caddy sports a triple yellow color scheme: yellow body paint, yellow leather interior, and yellow top. This cream puff even has yellow wheel covers. The leather is in perfect condition, the seats are extremely comfortable, and the car is amazingly easy to drive. The interior is in mint condition and loaded with options including: cruise, tilt/telescope, power everything (doors, windows, steering, brakes, seat adjustment, antenna), AM/FM/8-track (and about 50 tapes including the 78 Cadillac tape from the factory), AC cold enough to make ice on the front seat, auto-dimming headlights, auto on/off headlights, variable-speed intermittent wipers, and climate control.
Under the hood is a fat V8 7 liter engine. It has never had major work done and never needed a major work done. When I bought it, I had a mechanic check it out and all that was needed was an oil change and four new tires. Then I drove from St. Louis to Seattle. In Seattle, I had a 30,000 service done (along with my 2 year old Honda). He said the car was spot on. Then, I drove back to the Chicago area, where I now live. This car loves the high-way. I made the 2200 mile trip in 2 days.
This car is awesome in the snow. With a curb weight of 5000 pounds and front wheel drive, it can handle the worst of conditions.
The exterior is in good condition, but needs a few rubber filler pieces replaced (I have the phone number for a supplier in Florida). The front left filler between the quarter panel and the bumper was cracked and blew off the car somewhere in Iowa. The panel below the rear license plate is also gone. Both pieces total around $250. There is one small spot of rust and a few nicks that need tending to. It is very superficial, but needs attention soon. This car has new tires, new brakes, new rotors, new master cylinder, new shocks, new battery, and a new half shaft. Burns unleaded gas and gets 16 miles per gallon on the highway.
This car just needs a little attention to be cherry condition.
$5,000
