Car Information: | Original 1798cc Inline Four Cylinder Motor with Manual-4 Speed Transmission Red with Black Interior and Black Top I purchased this car in 1990 from its second owner. She owned it for only a year or two. It had the original factory painted white color with painted steel spoke wheels. It had 54,000 miles on it.
From 1990 to 1996, Much TLC work was done on the engine and drivetrain. The carburettor was completely re-built. The charging system was re-built. The original solid state ignition system was replaced with an after market MSD System. The catalytic converter was replaced and the entire exhaust system was replaced with a stainless steel one. The driveshaft universal joints were replaced. The car was driven to local British Car shows and exhibited.
In 1996, the vehicle body and chassis were restored and the car was completely re-painted British MG Red color (Signal Red #7540R). The entire interior carpeting was replaced.
Chrome wire wheels with stainless steel spokes and radial tires were installed in 1997.
The interior upholstery was replaced and a new convertible top installed in 1998. The vehicle scored 787/1000 points at the 1998 MG National Concours Show in Hagerstown, MD.
Since 1998, the car has been shown at British Car Shows and driven only occasionally. It has 101,640 miles on the odometer and retains its like new appearance and performance.
This car needs nothing to drive and show. It is a fine example of a completely restored MGB Roadster that is meticulously maintained. $7995.00
