The 300SE was one of approximately 5200 produced from 1961 through
1966 in the four door sedan version. This model was the top of the
line for its time. The 300SE incorporates an all aluminum 3.0 fuel
injected inline six cylinder with overhead camshaft. This engine
is the same engine used in the 300SL version Gullwing and Roadster
versions, slightly detuned for the sedan. This vehicle has an
pnumatic suspension system which means it has air bellows at each
wheel instead of coil springs. This is a second owner vehicle with
102000 miles and is in very nice condition. It has been stored in
the winters. This vehicle also has lots of wood and leather trim
in the interior cabin.
